A ceremony was held to present the Sojeong Scholarship and Sojeong Naerisarang Scholarship to students on June 16, 2025. The Sojeong Scholarship is a university scholarship granted by the Sojeong Scholarship Fund, named after the pen name of Lee Sang-sin, emeritus professor at the Department of Korean Education, who created the fund using her donation to the university development fund (a total of 116 million won: 2 million won added in 2025). Students have continued to receive the Sojeong Scholarship for 15 years since 2010 [113 scholarship recipients in total as of June 2025: 80 Sojeong Scholarship recipients + 33 Sojeong Naerisarang Scholarship recipients].

The Sojeong Naerisarang Scholarship Fund [9th President: Kim Joo-yeon (Matriculating Class of 2021, Department of Korean Education, Teacher at Gungpyeong Elementary School in Yeongcheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province)] is a self-organized scholarship fund founded by the recipients of the Sojeong Scholarship from 2010 to June 2025 to follow the vision of their mentor, Professor Sojeong Lee Sang-sin. All the members of the fund are alumni and teachers at elementary schools around the country. Since its first scholarship recipient in 2015 (Student No. 1), the fund has granted scholarships to its tenth cohort in 2024 (Students No. 26 to 29) and to four students who comprise the eleventh cohort this year (Students No. 30 to 33).
